About Felix Gutierrez
Graphic designer and illustrator based in New Mexico, showcasing my talents and connecting with future clients.
I am a graphic designer and illustrator who finds my inspiration in nature, art history, and cutting-edge design. The pieces that I draw most of my inspiration from are art pieces that are teeming with life, emotion, and interaction. One of my favorite pieces which I have drawn inspiration from is from art history called The Luncheon of the Boating Party by Pierre Auguste Renoir. When creating my work, I think of what story I am going to tell, what emotion I elicit, and what I am trying to portray.
When inspiration strikes and I draw out my next art piece the next thing I think of is what this art piece's emotion is going to elicit and what am I trying to portray. The use of emotion in my peace usually consists of happiness or uplifting feelings. It mainly depends on what I am feeling when I am creating my pieces of art. On rare occasions, I have used sadness and longing as if I am trying to reach across the distance to empathize that we all feel these feelings and there is a brighter day if you walk forward. When I am creating work for a client, I am drawing my inspiration from cutting-edge design and mockups and research to create a more impactful art piece.
